Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
• COA or COT certification preferred.
• Training in medical terminology required.
• Experience with NextGen and Patient Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and document medical visits and procedures accurately.
• Collect, organize and catalog data for quality reporting and outcomes.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist during physician exams.
• Perform clerical tasks (faxing, calls, referrals) as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Greet and escort patients, verify information, and obtain consent forms.
