Minnesota Eye Consultants in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking a Medical Scribe to document patient exams in the EHR and assist with surgery scheduling and return visits. You will work closely with physicians to ensure accurate charting and ICD-10 compliance, and support clinic flow.

Qualifications

• Typing speed and accuracy required.
• Experience with EHR systems, ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Document patient exam in EHR and scribe elements of exam.
• Assist with scheduling of surgery and return visits.
• Respond to internal communications in a timely manner.
• Review chart notes for ICD-10 compliance and assist with ERx.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain inventory and cleanliness.
• Assist with patient education and counseling as needed.
