Job summary

Acuity Eye Group in California is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee daily operations of our medical office, lead staff, manage onboarding, training, and compliance, and ensure excellent patient service.

You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, inventory, and HR functions, partner with physicians and departments to drive efficiency, and maintain our standards of care and corporate values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or related field; 3–5 years of related work and staff management experience.
• Operational management knowledge of retail or medical offices and best practices.
• Onboarding, training, and HR-related functions experience.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology clinic management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees patient census, staffing, scheduling, and clinic performance to ensure optimal operations.
• Prepares and controls the clinic budget; plans resource allocation.
• Leads HR activities such as talent acquisition, performance reviews, and attendance.
• Provides effective leadership, coaching, and staff development; resolves conflicts.
• Ensures compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies.
• Leads daily huddles and monthly meetings to communicate updates.
