Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs preliminary screenings as ordered by physician: collect ocular histories, obtain visual acuity, measure tonometry, lensometry, and perform pupil exams.
• Maintains ophthalmic exam lanes/equipment and clinic spaces.
• Cleans ophthalmic equipment in exam rooms per guidelines.
• Ensures exam rooms/lane are stocked and organized.
• Interacts with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians professionally and maintains confidentiality.
• Participates in ongoing professional development and maintains CPR certification.
