Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs preliminary screenings and collects patient ocular histories as ordered by physician.
• Maintains ophthalmic exam lanes/equipment and cleans equipment per guidelines.
• Ensures exam room is stocked and ready for patients; maintains patient confidentiality.
• Interacts professionally with patients, families, staff and physicians.
• Maintains CPR certification and participates in ongoing professional development as required by JCAHPO.
