Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Ophthalmic Scribe experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• JCAHPO certification preferred.
• Ability to use EMR and basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate patient history.
• Perform basic and advanced ophthalmic tests.
• Document patient records and treatments.
• Administer topical eye medications.
• Explain post-operative instructions clearly.
• Maintain sterile equipment and assist physicians.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
