Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year medical/ophthalmic scribe experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ophthalmic testing and basic procedures is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate patient history.
• Performs lensometry and basic ophthalmic testing.
• Document patient records and input treatment/recommendations.
• Administer topical ophthalmic medications.
• Perform tonometry and basic ocular measurements.
• Assist physicians with procedures and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain sterilization and EMR data entry.
