Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to support ophthalmologists in providing eye care services. The role combines clinical and administrative tasks to keep the practice running smoothly.

Responsibilities include performing specialized eye testing, handling phone requests for prescriptions, educating patients on medications and pre-/post-operative instructions, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. The position offers weekday schedule, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of customer-facing experience preferred.
• Medical-related experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to handle phone support and prescription requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized eye testing and streamline patient flow.
• Provide phone support for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Educate patients on medications and pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
