Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support ophthalmologists with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

The role involves eye exam testing, diagnostic procedures, patient education, and handling routine administrative duties while complying with HIPAA and safety standards. HS diploma and MS Office proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One-year customer-facing experience preferred.
• Medical-related experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.
• Conduct other diagnostic testing such as Visual Aids, OCT, Corneal topography.
• Provide phone support for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Educate patients on medication administration and pre-/post-operative instructions.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
