Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to support ophthalmologists in delivering high-quality eye care. The role combines clinical testing with essential administrative duties to ensure smooth patient flow across the practice.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer-facing experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a customer-facing position preferred.
• Medical-related experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Proficient in use of internet.

Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists with specialized eye exam testing and streamline patient flow.
• Provide phone support for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Educate patients regarding administration of medications and pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by the physician.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliant practices.
• Support administrative tasks as assigned.
