Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics is seeking a results-driven pharmaceutical sales professional to represent our ophthalmology portfolio in the United States, with emphasis on building strong relationships with target HCPs and delivering education-focused messages.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in pharma sales (preferably ophthalmology), is comfortable traveling domestically, and can meet call activity and sales targets while navigating MLR-compliant education and product data.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in scientific field.
Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent.
Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience, preferably in ophthalmology.
Knowledge of healthcare institutions and managed care; experience selling to healthcare institutions preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs.
Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information to target HCPs.
Business planning and execution for assigned territory.
Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, data, safety, and efficacy.
Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust conversations with patients.
