Aspire Bakeries seeks an Operator 2, Bakery to join our West Columbia, SC bakery team. You will operate and monitor mixing and automated production equipment to meet quality, food safety, and production standards, with a focus on efficiency and adherence to recipes and schedules.

The role requires 2 years of manufacturing experience, the ability to read and calculate, and strong teamwork. Shift details and a supportive, growth-oriented work culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Equipment and product knowledge.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment and products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust mixing and production equipment to ensure product quality and specification compliance.
• Monitor food products and equipment performance to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and operational records.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Support production schedules, changeovers, recipes, and daily operational goals.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas and equipment.

About the Role

We are seeking a Operator 2, bakeryto join the team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Operator 2, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring mixing and automated production equipment to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and production standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient production operations through equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance support, and adherence to established recipes and production schedules.

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Weekend availability: Required
