Job summary

Christensen, Inc. seeks an Operations Support professional in Seattle to handle back-end processes including inventory, accounts payable, delivery setup and compliance.

You will work closely with the office, warehouse, drivers, sales, customers, other divisions, vendors and shipping companies. The role emphasizes accuracy, strong Excel skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, both internal and external.
• Strong customer service skills and professional email communication.
• Ability to work in an unsupervised environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Solid analytical skills for inventory analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily office functions including answering phones, taking orders, assisting walk-in customers, and daily invoicing.
• Maintain intercompany transfer process.
• Weekly inventory cycle counts and daily tracking reports.
• Perform daily truck inspections and complete operations checklists.
• Assist with training and other fuel operations tasks.
• Assist with fleet maintenance tracking and DOT compliance.
• Process accounts payable following company guidelines and deadlines.
• Maintain and order office and warehouse supplies.
• Set up shipping for outbound customer shipments.
• Maintain Loaned Equipment files and ensure billing.
• Record minutes for Safety Committee meetings and track near-miss incidents.
