Christensen, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Operations Supervisor/Manager in Pasco, WA. The role oversees plant operations, safety, logistics, maintenance, compliance, and training, reporting to the Plant Manager.

You will collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, dispatch, operations support, sales, and vendors to boost productivity and profitability. The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong planning skills, and knowledge of FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications

• Excellent planning and organizational skills balancing production and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Manager with day-to-day operations leadership.
• Review driver schedules for efficiency and coverage.
• Train drivers on procedures and best practices.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Support safety policies and housekeep­ing programs.
• Maintain safety, compliance and housekeeping standards.
• Analyze workforce requirements with Plant Manager.
• Coach and guide site employees.
• Promote continuous improvement across operations.
• Assist in removing production constraints and allocating resources.
• Support growth initiatives and customer service standards.
• Assist with driver recruiting and retention.
