Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a frontline Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day package sortation and staff management. You will ensure safety compliance, coach and develop personnel, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will hire, train, and assess staff, manage administrative tasks, and uphold FedEx policies and regulatory requirements while communicating clearly to the team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1) In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate degree in related area or 2+ years of college.
• 2) Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• 3) Ability to read and interpret numerical data and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and champion FedEx Safety Above All culture.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize, evaluate and manage staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages and cost control.
• Lead meetings, communicate updates, and explain daily goals to teams.
• Mentor staff and develop key skills; adapt to changing business needs.
