Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a Supervisor, Operations I to oversee daily Service Center operations in Denver. You will supervise staff, coordinate loading/unloading, enforce procedures, safety, and productivity in varied weather, indoor/outdoor settings.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), 2 years leadership experience, strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 2 years leadership experience preferred; transportation experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading of freight.
• Coordinate with employees to assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Provide training and feedback to staff; enforce safety and company standards.
• Maintain safe working environment and load plans for vehicle operation.
• Protect compliance with labor agreements and ensure customer service standards.
