Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead staff and coordinate service delivery for branch productivity.

You will work closely with the Branch Manager to drive safety, compliance, and performance metrics while delivering world-class sales and customer service support. Responsibilities include coaching staff, implementing financial objectives, approving quotations and contracts, training, and ensuring adherence to Rental Flow

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support sales and customer service to ensure world-class service and operational excellence.
• Monitor and control costs to drive profitability and ensure safety.
• May handle day-to-day operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and deposits.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel and promote a culture of safety.
