Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate and direct the delivery of quality service, maximize branch productivity, and support sales and customer service while ensuring safety and policy compliance. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to drive outcomes and develop the team.

The position emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and the Rental Flow process, with a focus on coaching staff and maintaining world-class service standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support sales and customer service including processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Maximize operational effectiveness by ensuring staff are trained and compliant with Rental Flow Process.
