Job summary

United Rentals in Omaha, Nebraska seeks an Operations Supervisor to coordinate and direct the delivery of quality service to maximize branch productivity. You will work with the Branch Manager to provide supervision that ensures safety, branch metric performance, and Rental Flow efficiency while contributing world-class sales and customer service support.

The role requires coaching staff, monitoring scorecard metrics, and handling quotations, reservations and contracts in line with company

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support all aspects of sales and customer service to ensure world class service and operational excellence, including processing rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Maximize operational effectiveness by ensuring staff is trained and compliant with the Rental Flow Process; monitor and control costs.
• May be responsible for day-to-day operations including opening/closing, cash drawer reconciliation and bank deposits.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership and accountability.
