Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the delivery of quality service and maximize branch productivity. You will supervise with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, metrics, and efficient Rental Flow, while delivering world-class sales and customer support.

Responsibilities include supporting financial objectives, policy compliance, coaching staff, and driving profitability through cost control and service quality. Strong leadership and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years of supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support all aspects of sales and customer service to ensure world class service, including quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Maximize operational effectiveness by training staff and controlling costs.
• May handle day-to-day operations including opening/closing, cash handling and deposits.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety and discipline through leadership and accountability.
• Other duties as needed.
