Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to partner with Global Support leadership, driving the annual operating plan, capacity planning, and cost modeling. You will develop reporting frameworks, lead executive reviews, and use AI tools to accelerate analysis and decision-making.

The role emphasizes independence, cross-functional collaboration with Support, Finance, People, and a data-driven approach to improve efficiency and customer experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business operations, strategic finance/FP&A, or related field.
• Experience owning annual operating plans and multi-quarter planning.
• Ability to build and own complex operating or financial models.
• Experience owning recurring executive business reviews end to end.
• Strong analytical skills with data tooling familiarity (Tableau/Looker/SQL).

Responsibilities

• Own the annual operating plan for the Support organization end to end.
• Model and test strategic levers like headcount, vendor mix, and cost to serve with quantified impact.
• Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with executive narrative and follow-through.
• Build and maintain self-serve reporting frameworks and metrics definitions.
• Partner with leaders to drive programs that improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate modeling, analysis, and reporting.
