Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sr. Business Operations Manager for the Global Support leadership.

You will drive operational excellence, own the annual operating plan, and connect capacity, AI deflection, and staffing assumptions into a defensible plan and budget. Your work will translate a wide set of metrics into clear leadership narratives, guiding decisions, and action with executives across Support, Finance, and People.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business operations or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited university.
• Experience owning an annual operating plan and capacity planning.
• Proven ability to build and own complex operating or financial models.
• Experience owning a recurring executive business review cadence (MBR/QBR).
• Ability to build executive-level presentations and strategic communications.
• Strong analytical skills with data tools familiarity (Tableau/Looker/SQL).
• Experience using AI tools for analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Cross-functional collaboration and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Independent thinker with curiosity and drive.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual operating plan for the Support organization end to end.
• Model and pressure-test strategic levers (headcount, cost, deflection).
• Own the Customer Support business review cadence (monthly/quarterly).
• Build and maintain reporting frameworks and metrics definitions (self-serve).
• Partner with Support leadership on programs (productivity, capacity, incentives).
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and reporting.
• Championi Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale.
