Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking an Operations Specialist to support patient care and drive operational excellence. The role focuses on improving workflows, training staff, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely authorizations.

You will navigate EMR systems, analyze processes, and collaborate with leadership to resolve issues while maintaining HIPAA and infection control standards. A valid driver’s license and healthcare experience are preferred for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relatable work experience required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, clerical, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support regional operations through workflow improvements and training.
• Review documentation: insurance verification, authorizations, order accuracy.
• Navigate EMR systems to enter and track patient data.
• Analyze workflows, identify errors, implement efficiency solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and communicate trends.
• Ensure HIPAA, PPE, and infection control compliance.
• Operate company vehicles for equipment delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
