Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a dependable Material Handler for a 6-month contract in Simpsonville, SC. This onsite role operates on the 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed.

You will receive, store, and distribute inventory, load and unload materials, and maintain accurate records using an MRP system. A High School Diploma or GED and prior warehouse or manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience using an MRP system.
• Strong math and basic computer skills for inventory control.
• Experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Forklift or material lifter experience is required; safety training is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, store, and distribute inventory.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other delivery vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in the system.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery to production areas.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in packaging and shipping of finished goods when required.

Material Handler

Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 6 months
Location: Simpsonville, SC - Onsite

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently handle materials, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other delivery vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in packaging and shipping of finished goods when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have prior experience working with MRP system, operating a forklift and or Material Lifter (not a manual pallet jack)
• Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory management.

Contract and engagement terms

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $16.00/hr to $17.50 /hr depending on experience/skill set level

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
