Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Tulsa, OK location. This full-time, contract-to-hire role oversees entry-level staff, ensures workflow efficiency, and implements basic process improvements.

The ideal candidate will plan team objectives, coordinate tasks, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to interpret policies. The position supports weekend shifts and a 1st shift schedule, with pay range $33–$35 per hour.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Operations Supervisor.

Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire Duration: 12 months. Location: Tulsa, OK, 74116 (Onsite/1st Shift/Weekend shift/Fri, Sat & Sun/6am-6:30pm).

As an Operations Supervisor you will:

Overall Summary:

• Supervises support or entry level employees.
• Communicate with parties inside and outside of own team to explain and interpret policies, practices, and procedures.
• Adjust basic procedures and processes.
• Plans and establish operational objectives for a team with some impact on department results.
• Understands basic supervisory approaches and has practical knowledge of job area.

Nature of Supervision:

• Supervises individual(s) typically consist of support level employees.
• Provides day-to-day work direction for direct report(s), focuses on maintaining steady workflow and productivity and resolving operational decisions.
• Provides input on hiring, firing, promotion, performance and/or compensation decisions for direct report(s).
• Reports to Senior Supervisor or higher.

Communication & Influence:

• Communicates with parties within and outside of own team, which may include customers or vendors.
• Explains and interprets policies, practices and procedures of the area of responsibility to others within the organization.

Innovation & Complexity:

• Work consists of making basic adjustments in procedures and processes to solve problems.
• Identifies, defines and addresses general problems that are typically within the immediate job area or team.
• Problems are generally solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basis analysis.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Plans and establishes operational objectives for a team within a clearly defined job area.
• Delivers operational results that have some impact on the achievement of departmental results.
• Assigns tasks to a team to achieve operational targets, service standards, etc.
• Does not have budget or Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability but may manage day-to-day elements of the budget (e.g., overtime for staff).
• Understands basic supervisory approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, and process execution.
• Typically requires practical knowledge of technical or operational practices within assigned discipline.
• Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits:

Pay Range*: $33-$35/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
