Job summary

Innova Solutions in Irvine, CA seeks a Manufacturing Inspector for a 6-month contract-to-hire role. The person will perform manufacturing operations, support operators, and drive continuous improvement, with complex rework at unit and component level.

The position requires 2+ years in industrial manufacturing, ability to read 2D drawings, and English communication skills. First shift, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, on-site in Irvine.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with process and/or quality system audits.
• Ability to read two-dimensional drawings for inspection reports.

Position

Position type: Full-time, Contract to possible extension or hire

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Irvine, CA

Shifts: 1st 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Performs Manufacturing operations in accordance with the associated documentation and the time allocated, using the resources available
• Is responsible for complex work and rework at unit and component level
• Chooses and implements suitable methods, resources and procedures.
• Brings support to the operators.
• Initializes and manages continuous improvement actions in and around his/her area.
• Performs final inspection duties when requested in accordance with drawings, EOs and any other regulatory requirement pertaining to the product.

Qualifications

• 2 years working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Has performed process and/or quality system audits
• Manual dexterity skills
• Ability to communicate and follow the manufacturing process Instruction in English
• Previous knowledge (one + year) of electronic sub-assemblies & system integration
• Be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds
• 3 years of experience using mechanical inspection tools (caliper, ruler, scales, etc)
• Prior experience reading two dimensional drawings to create article inspection report
• Prior expertise performing process audits and assessments
• Education Level Required: High School or Technical School graduate

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range: $20 to $22/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
