Job summary

American Water Works Company Inc. in Scranton, PA is seeking an Associate Specialist, Operations Services to support a range of services that drive operational performance and process standardization.

You will use SAP, MapCall and other AW systems to review assets, compile reports, assist with acquisitions, and help deliver excellent customer service. Travel up to 30% and a primarily indoor office environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field desired.
• Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 2+ years’ experience in utility operations, customer service, or PM roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support projects to drive operational improvement and standardization.
• Support state operations in adopting standardized operational systems.
• Assist with due diligence and integration of acquisitions.
• Support customer service-related activities to deliver high-quality service.
• Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Review assets using SAP, MapCall and AW systems.
• Prepare and compile essential reports daily/weekly/monthly.
• Interact with internal customers as a first-level resource.
• Provide research and resolution for complex inquiries.
