Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Operations Project Engineer to oversee planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing projects at our Mukwonago plant. You will collaborate with NPD leaders, designers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule while upholding quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering degree, 1+ years of project leadership, and strong knowledge of manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
1+ years as a project leader or similar role.
Strong manufacturing knowledge and operations principles.
Experience with ERP systems and WMS is preferred.

Responsabilités

Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders.
Develop detailed plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Lead multiple medium-scale projects for manufacturing improvements.
Monitor progress, risks, and adjust plans to meet milestones.
Visit Mukwonago plant and attend key meetings at corporate office as needed.
Provide technical guidance to designers, technicians, and contractors.
Evaluate design against cost, reliability, and manufacturability and suggest improvements.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to meet project requirements.
Perform capacity analysis and project costing to support decisions.
Track budgets and report financials; ensure cost controls.
Promote quality and safety throughout projects and capture lessons learned.
