Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and overseas (mainly Asia) several times a year as needed.
• Ability to lead several simultaneous projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering materials used in hand/tools or power tools and related manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with CAD; NX preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead small to medium scale engineering projects and support mid-level projects.
• Work cross-functionally with Advanced Quality Engineering, Product Marketing, Industrial Design, Purchasing, Finance, and others.
• Evaluate designs relative to material selection, cost, and resolution of design issues.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and drive execution to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets.
• Monitor project progress and provide weekly status updates to management and team.
• Maintain communication with manufacturing cells and suppliers to advance development and readiness; conduct on-site visits as needed.
• Conduct tests per established procedures and interpret data to make design recommendations.
