Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's Private Equity Performance Improvement practice seeks an Associate in Operations & Manufacturing to lead manufacturing and distribution engagements for portfolio companies across the U.S. This role focuses on delivering practical value through hands-on analysis and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution functions.
• Deep functional expertise in at least one listed area: SCM, Manufacturing Ops, footprint optimization, CapEx planning, 4.0/IIoT, Lean/Six Sigma/TOC.
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills including process mapping and quantitative analysis.
• Experience designing and leading internally- and externally-focused change/ communications strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements with PE leadership to identify and implement solutions.
• Analyze manufacturing operations, supply chain, and distribution to identify value opportunities.
• Develop transformation plans and manage teams and day-to-day client relationships.
• Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees and reviewing data.
