Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Associate in Operations & Manufacturing to lead and deliver large, complex engagements for portfolio companies. You will work with private equity leadership to identify and implement operational improvements across manufacturing and distribution functions.

The role requires 2–5+ years in manufacturing/distribution with deep process and transformation expertise. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Open to candidates nationwide in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in manufacturing and/or distribution functions.
• Deep functional expertise in supply chain, manufacturing, and related transformation areas.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements for manufacturing and distribution improvements.
• Assess target facilities and operations, including capacity, efficiency, quality, and planning.
• Develop transformation plans to drive cost improvements and performance gains.
• Oversee team deliverables and day‑to‑day client relationships to ensure outstanding results.
