Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an Operations Manager with in-role training up to 15 weeks at an operating site. You will lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and use data-driven decisions to improve performance.

The role requires 3+ years in people management, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and flexibility for weekends/nights. Training travel is provided, and Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as continuously climb and descend stairs
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
