Job summary

The Home Depot is offering an Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (OASM-IT) program. You will gain hands-on experience across key store functions under mentorship and leadership development.

The role includes learning to manage Customer Service Desk, Receiving, Tool Rental, Order Fulfillment, Lot Loaders and Back Office while supporting profitability. During the up-to-6 week training, you will lead by example, partner with Store Manager and ASMs, and practice SOPs, safety and service

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 3 years of work experience in similar roles.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering operations, customer service, sales and policies.
• Oversee customer service desk, receiving, order fulfillment and back office functions.
• Learn staffing, scheduling, stock control and disciplinary processes as part of development.
• Assist in store operations including opening/closing tasks and safety compliance.
