CVS Pharmacy in Ventura, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Store Manager in leading daily store operations, driving execution, and delivering exceptional customer service that builds loyalty. This role oversees sales, inventory, staffing, training, and financial management, focusing on policy implementation and continuous improvement.
The position requires strong deductive reasoning, analytical skills, and leadership, with flexibility for early mornings, overnights, and weekends
The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team and supports the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store. The role focuses on driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service.
This role is not part of the Retail Management Development Program and operations managers are not eligible for direct promotion to Store Manager.
Management – Lead others and work effectively with store crews; supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store's crew; effectively communicate information to store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner; support the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement.
Customer Service – Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints; promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank).
Experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

The typical pay range for this role is $21.90 – $35.90. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
