Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Manager, Operations to join our team. This role ensures the Operations Department runs efficiently and drives continual process improvements to deliver superior service and product support for internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will lead staff, review procedures for efficiency, and monitor KPIs to address performance gaps while ensuring SOX controls and regulatory compliance are maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum five (5) years in a bank production environment or three (3) years in a First Merchants bank production role.
• Experience managing a team of associates.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting or related field would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, conduct interviews and hire decisions.
• Review processes for improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain procedures and controls to ensure regulatory SOX compliance.
• Identify, track, and report KPI to monitor performance and drive improvements.
