The role emphasizes staffing, process improvements, and adherence to regulatory controls. The successful candidate will have strong team leadership, experience in bank operations, and a track record of implementing efficiency and compliance improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in a bank production environment or 3+ years in a First Merchants bank production role.
• Experience managing a team of associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, conduct interviews and hire/mentor staff; evaluate performance.
• Continuously review processes to improve department efficiency.
• Maintain procedures and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and SOX controls.
• Identify, track, and report KPIs to monitor performance and drive improvements.
