First Merchants Bank is seeking a Manager, Operations to join our team. This role ensures the Operations Department runs efficiently and seeks to continually improve processes. You will provide direction to staff to deliver superior service and product support for internal and external customers.

Essential duties include hiring and mentoring staff, reviewing processes for efficiency, ensuring SOX compliance, and tracking KPIs to drive improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in a bank production environment or 3+ years in a First Merchants bank production role.
• Experience managing a team of associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, conduct interviews, hire and mentor staff and evaluate performance.
• Review processes to identify efficiency improvements.
• Maintain procedures and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and SOX key controls.
• Identify, track and report KPI’s to monitor performance and guide improvements.
