Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project, crew, trade-partner, delivery, and inspection schedules

• Maintain project records, purchase documentation, receipts, bills, and accounting workflows
• Track open items and follow through with vendors, field leads, and clients
• Prepare weekly operating views covering schedule risk, staffing, materials, and cash-flow inputs

Job description

This is the operating center of a growing design/build company. You will coordinate schedules, vendors, field information, client communication, and day-to-day accounting administration so crews can build and leadership can lead.

Base compensation

$68,000–$85,000/year

Schedule

Full-time W-2; primarily remote with regular field coordination

Territory

Remote within the service region — regular York-area meetings and site visits

W-2 base compensation before overtime, bonuses, benefits, or vehicle allowances. Final offers reflect demonstrated capability, credentials, responsibility, and territory; applicants do not automatically begin at the top of a band.

$68,000–$85,000/year

Runs cross-project coordination and improves company operating rhythm.

Level 3

Director of Operations

$90,000–$115,000/year

Owns capacity planning, systems, accountability, and scalable delivery performance.

W-2 hires begin with a 90-day introductory period: skill and reliability verification in days 1–30, a written day-45 checkpoint, a day-75 recommendation, and a day-90 regular-status decision. The first compensation review occurs at six months; annual reviews follow.

Helix provides the required company technology and project systems. Remote work still includes scheduled meetings, client or vendor coordination, and project-site visits appropriate to the role.
