Job summary

Helix Craftworks LLC is seeking an experienced handyman to service clients with a changing list of repairs and improvements, delivered with planning, communication, and finished quality that matches the rest of Helix.

Base compensation ranges from $27 to $33 per hour, with both full-time and part-time opportunities and a 90-day introductory period. Extensive territory covers York & Lancaster Counties in PA, and parts of MD, with W-2 base pay before bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Broad hands-on experience in residential maintenance, repairs, or remodeling.
• Competence across carpentry, drywall, hardware, trim, and fixture installation.
• Good diagnostic judgment and respect for licensing and scope boundaries.
• Reliable vehicle, driver’s license, and organized hand-tool setup.
• Comfort working independently in clients’ homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair, maintenance, installation, adjustment, and punch-list scopes
• Diagnose common property issues and communicate practical next steps
• Plan materials and time accurately for efficient service visits
• Protect the work area, keep clients informed, and leave a clean finished result
• Document completed work and identify items requiring licensed or specialized trades
• Support renovation closeout and warranty-response work when needed
