Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Hartford, CT seeks an Operations Management Trainee to support shop management, reduce costs, boost customer retention, and drive metric-based initiatives.

You’ll work across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management, with a path toward an Ops Supervisor role. The role requires a completed 4-year college degree; schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• > 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience is preferred.
• > Strong PC knowledge including spreadsheets and word processing software is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships with proactive interface and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Rental and Maintenance to optimize utilization and cost.
• Partner with Sales for new business calls and customer satisfaction.
• Control running costs and maintenance overheads; follow policy and processes.
