Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Tucker, GA is seeking an Operations Management Trainee to support shop management, drive cost savings, and improve customer retention through metrics-driven initiatives. This role works cross-functionally with Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental.

You will coordinate PM scheduling, assist in maintaining vehicle status, and partner with Sales to pursue new business while upholding policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support shop management processes and assist in cost savings initiatives.
• Coordinate with rental department to maximize utilization while protecting lease customers.
• Partner with Sales on customer calls for new business and satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overhead; ensure policy adherence.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee PM scheduling, breakdowns, and vehicle status updates; assist in technician planning.
