Job summary

Markit! Forestry Management is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join the shop and office team in Auburn, CA. The role involves supporting field crews, mechanics, and the fleet manager with ordering, maintenance scheduling, and supplier setup.

You will assist HR, safety, and business development while traveling to project sites across California and Nevada. The position is based in a shop environment and requires strong organizational, communication, and tech skills, plus a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Advanced knowledge of office machinery and cellular devices.
• Travel to project sites throughout California and Nevada.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• 2–5 years administrative experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support field crews with supply, parts, and tool ordering and delivery.
• Assist with systems troubleshooting and inventory reporting.
• Support the Fleet Manager with vendor research, maintenance scheduling, and equipment mobilization.
• Assist HR and Safety with onboarding, trainings, PPE issuance, and documentation.
• Provide ongoing support to business development and database needs.
