Job summary

Markit! Forestry Management is seeking a dedicated forestry laborer to support multiple projects across Colorado, operating heavy machinery and performing field duties.

You will travel and work on various sites, collaborating with project foremen, ensuring safety, maintenance, and timely completion of tasks, including overnight stays when required. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience operating heavy machinery; forestry experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy forestry equipment per project needs.
• Perform chainsaw felling, limbing and bucking.
• Maintain and inspect assigned machinery daily.
• Follow safety standards and work with foremen.
• Overnight stays at project sites as required.
