Job summary

Western Growers seeks a Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate training programs for Operations teams across the organization, including Western Growers Health (WGH) and Pinnacle Claims Management (PCMI).

The role collaborates with SMEs to create curricula, facilitates training sessions, and uses metrics to drive continuous improvement while ensuring secure, HIPAA-compliant learning environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2–3 years designing learning solutions.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and ISD model.
• Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and instructional technology.
• Ability to plan, develop, and facilitate engaging training programs.
• Proficiency with LMS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SMEs to assess performance gaps and create learning solutions.
• Define instructional objectives and apply adult learning principles.
• Design end-to-end learning solutions including curricula, courses, and assessments.
• Create engaging experiences using instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning.
• Develop multimedia assets and write business processes for SMEs approval.
• Evaluate training effectiveness with metrics and feedback.
