Job summary

Perdue Farms in Cromwell, Kentucky, announces the Operations Management Trainee (Pathways) program beginning June 2027. The 24-month leadership development journey includes hands-on learning, structured rotations, mentorship, and projects to build technical, operational, and leadership skills for future supervision.

During year one, you’ll rotate through key operational areas, gaining a foundation in our business and preparing for a full-time supervisor role at 12 months.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, completed within 24 months of start date.
Preferred concentrations include Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Management, Business/Administration, Animal Science, or Poultry Science.
Willing to work a rotation of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Participate in structured rotations across key operational areas to build end-to-end understanding.
Support daily production activities and learn production planning and staffing.
Develop leadership capabilities through mentorship and cohort learning.
Prepare for transition into a supervisor role after 12 months.
