Job summary

Perdue Foods in Milford, CT, invites a motivated candidate to join its 24-month Operations Management Trainee (Pathways) program, starting June 2027. You’ll embark on hands-on rotations, mentorship, and leadership development to prepare you to lead high-performing teams and drive business results.

Qualifications

• GPA of at least 3.0.
• Bachelor’s degree within 24 months of Pathways start date.
• Willing to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across key operational areas to learn plant operations and improve performance.
• Support daily production activities and coordinate daily work under guidance of experienced leaders.
• Monitor production performance, quality, safety, attendance, staffing and workflow; identify issues and resolve them with leadership.
• Demonstrate readiness for the Production Supervisor role by leading defined operational activities and applying learnings.
