Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines invites you to join its Management Trainee Program, a 16-week intensive training track to prepare you for your first leadership role in operations.

Under a mentor you will learn the basics of the transportation industry, efficient cross-dock operations and effective leadership communication. You will accompany an Account Manager on sales calls and drivers on local routes, with relocation to another facility required after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation or Logistics or 2+ years related work experience.
• Acceptable driving history aligned with company standards.
• Willingness to relocate as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 16-week Operations Management Trainee Program.
• Learn operations principles, cross-dock efficiency, and leadership basics.
• Interface with Support Center and Service Center teams daily.
• Observe an Account Manager during customer sales calls and drivers on routes.
• Relocate after program to your first leadership role.
