Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines in the United States offers an Operations Management Trainee Program designed to train entry-level graduates for leadership roles in logistics. The 16-week program is guided by a mentor and covers transportation fundamentals, cross-dock operations, leadership communication, and relationship building.

Upon completion, relocation to another facility is required to assume the first leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics, or 2+ years related work experience.
• Valid driving history per company standards.
• Willingness to relocate as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Very strong work ethic; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 16-week Operations Management Trainee Program.
• Learn transportation industry basics and cross-dock operations.
• Accompany Account Manager during customer sales calls.
• Accompany drivers on local routes to understand the freight delivery process.
• Relocate to another facility for first leadership role after program.
