Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines invites applicants for its Management Trainee program, a 16-week entry-level leadership preparation in operations. Successful candidates will relocate after the program to assume a supervisor role and will observe account managers and drivers to gain hands-on experience in freight delivery.

The role requires a Transportation or Logistics degree or two years of related experience, plus a valid driving record and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation or Logistics required or 2+ years of related work experience.

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of the transportation industry and cross-dock operations during a 16-week program.
• Relocate to a facility for first leadership role after completing the program; interface with Support Center and Service Center teams.
• Shadow an Account Manager on sales calls and accompany drivers on local routes to understand the freight delivery process.
