Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking candidates for a Management Trainee position. This entry-level program runs 16 weeks and prepares you for leadership roles in operations under a mentor, including learning the transportation industry, cross-dock operations, and leadership communication.

After completion, relocation to another facility will be required. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics or at least two years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 16-week Management Trainee Program to learn basic operations and leadership principles.
• Observe and learn leadership communication and relationship-building in operations.
• Accompany Account Managers on customer calls and drivers on local routes to understand freight delivery processes.
• Relocate to another facility after completing the trainee program for first leadership role.
